Reserve "Mount Conca"
The mount "Conca"
is the Natural Reserve in province of Caltanissetta, she
is in the territory of Campofranco, a small country founded
in the 1573 from Giovanni Campo.
The reserve has founded
in the 1995, the two principal caverns are "Inghiottitoio"
and "Risorgenza."
The origin of the
"Mount Conca" it goes up again to the Messiniano
period (superior Miocene), around 5-6 million of years ,
all the formations of the "highland chalky they interest
a vast area southern that that goes from the river Imera
to the river Platani.
Near Mount conca there
is a bridge , perhaps of Roman epoch.
